Self-Care Saturday: Journaling

Image may contain: 1 person, smilingHappy #selfcaresaturday! It’s Anna! 💁🏼‍♀️ One is my most favorite things to do for self-care as often as I can is ▪️JOURNALING▪️. It has been an amazing tool for self-discovery for me, especially as someone who doesn’t talk about my deepest feelings and thoughts easily. It is therapeutic, calming, and creative, it helps me problem-solve, I can record my ideas, I can watch my growth over time, I can inspire myself and (hopefully) future generations. The BEST part about journaling for me is that i give myself NO RULES. It is my one safe place that I can write about anything I want, dream ridiculous dreams, vent if I need to, write goals....whatever I am feeling. I. LOVE. JOURNALING. Can you tell? 😉

With the help of Pinterest, I’ve put together a few simple prompts to start journaling if you aren’t a journaler but want to get into it more!

1. Write about a time when you loved your work.
2. Describe yourself in words.
3. Describe your ideal home.
4. Who are your role models?
5. Write a letter to your past self.
6. Something I hope to achieve in the next 5 years is...
7. What inspires me?
8. What type of legacy do you want to leave behind?
