Spiritual Sunday: No Comparisons!

Happy Sunday everyone! It’s Christina 😊. Some of you know the 3 of us really well, and some of you may know one of us, or none of us! Growing up, the 3 of us were quite different. There are 5 years between Katie and I, and then 7 years later, Anna was born! So we didn’t share life phases together. Actually, Katie and I didn’t get along very well growing up because we were SO different. Anna was our little baby and often got left out of the family news or conversations. 😂 it took us a long time to come to grips that she had grown up. But now we are honestly the BEST of friends! We are still VERY different, but also see and embrace our similarities as well. We have all come to realize that friends will come and go, but family is forever and we will always, always be there for each other no matter what. We have all read and love @msrachelhollis book, “Girl, Wash Your Face”, if you haven’t read it, it’s a must!! And I loved this quote:

“Comparison is the death of all joy, and the only person you need to be better than, is the one you were yesterday.”

Embrace your differences from friends, family members, influencers, whatever! Rejoice in their successes, mourn in their losses, admire their strengths, but focus on your own! A little food for thought this Sunday. ❤️
