Spiritual Sunday: Motherhood

I love this picture. If I were to give it a title, I would call it, “Mother Nature.” Just as life springs forth from the earth in the form of plants, trees, and flowers, my sister is cultivating life inside of her that will come forth as a creation more beautiful than I can imagine. This picture represents the power of womanhood and the goodness of God to trust women with the sacred responsibility of being mothers. I know what my sister has gone through to bring her children to the earth. It isn’t easy. Her body has been through intense strain and fatigue. But even the turmoil is beautiful because it shows the sacrifice that she is willing to make for these children that she loves more than her own life. I am honored to love this little mother and the tiny lives she brings to my world. They fill my heart to overflowing. @katiageorgephotography @rumseyfloral
